Understanding Depression |
Anxiety goes beyond ordinary worry, manifesting as persistent fear, racing thoughts, and physical symptoms like tension, restlessness, and sleep disruption. It may appear as generalized anxiety, panic attacks, social anxiety, or specific phobias. While everyone experiences worry, anxiety becomes problematic when it interferes with daily functioning, relationships, or quality of life. Many people describe feeling trapped in cycles of worry they cannot control. |
Depression involves more than just sadness. It can include persistent feelings of emptiness, hopelessness, loss of interest in once-enjoyed activities, fatigue, difficulty concentrating, changes in appetite or sleep, and thoughts of worthlessness. Depression can develop gradually or appear suddenly, sometimes triggered by life events or emerging without an obvious cause. It affects how you think, feel, and navigate daily life. |
